JULIAN

Recording artist Julián Gargiulo was born in San Juan, Argentina and moved to the states in 1996. He was raised in Allen, Texas, and found his passion for guitar at age eleven and has continued pursuing his passion ever since, along with other instruments such as drums and bass. Julián attended Berklee College of Music on a scholarship, where he studied and graduated with a degree in Guitar and Music Production and Engineering. Julián is an accomplished musician and engineer who has worked under Machine on dozens of records at The Machine Shop in Austin, TX, both as an engineer and a session guitar player, since moving to Austin back in 2016. MAX

Since taking piano lessons, singing as a child, and playing trumpet in grade school, Max has been heavily involved in music. He has continued playing in numerous bands since picking up guitar as a teenager, in addition to still working as a hired live and session guitarist. Always looking for problems to solve led him to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from BYU with additional studies and involvement in music and acoustics. Combining engineering and music brought the logical progression to studio work, where he has been happily creative and technical. Max currently produces and engineers music, builds and repairs guitar amplifiers and effects, and co-hosts The Musician’s Musician Podcast.
